  • Dez Dickerson and his band were scheduled to appear at this show, but had to cancel in favor of doing a tour with Billy Idol. Without prior announcement Prince and the Revolution appeared for a performance instead.
  • This was the Revolution's first public performance in 1984 and essentially the first public presentation of the Purple Rain-era Revolution
  • Brown Mark was the first on stage entering from stage right playing the bubbly bass line to 17 Days with Prince and the rest of the band following him shortly after.
  • Prince was honored with 2 awards that night:
- "Best Songwriter"
- "Best producer"
  • Prince was also inducted to the newly established "Minnesota Hall Of Fame".
