Super Hero was a single released to coincide with the release of the movie soundtrack Blankman. The single (and the song) was credited to the New Power Generation featuring The Steeles (the only time this credit has been used).
It was released on the same day as the album, and received a release in the USA and Germany. The single contained multiple remixes of Super Hero; none were remixed by Prince, but two, Super Hero (New Power Hero Mix) and Super Hero (Hero Slow Motion Mix) were remixed by Kirk Johnson.
The single did not enter the charts.
