Get Wild was first released in December 1994 as promotional single from the Prêt-A-Porter soundtrack album in the USA only. The song was re-released commercially in a different version as the first single from the album Exodus by The New Power Generation, in the UK and in Europe only on 20 March 1995. The lead track of the European single was titled Get Wild (Single Version), but this was identical to the version from Exodus (the title may have been used to distinguish it from the Prêt-A-Porter soundtrack). The European single contained a unique instrumental version of The Most Beautiful Girl In The World with saxophone by Eric Leeds, titled Beautiful Girl. Its maxi-single, released two weeks later, contained several Get Wild remixes. Following the trend of The Beautiful Experience, the remixes were titled only by their remix name (eg. Money Maker rather than Get Wild (Money Maker)). The cassette edition of the maxi-single was titled "The Wild Experience". The single reached number 19 in the UK Gallup Singles Chart. Additional Information Promotion (at time of release) Triva At the time of the single’s release, Prince was touring Europe on The Ultimate Live Experience, and played the track regularly (although not at every show). The New Power Generation, containing Prince on lead vocals disguised (and only referred to) as Tora Tora, played Get Wild live on UK TV shows Top Of The Pops and The White Room.
