Call My Name was available as a promotional single from the album Musicology. It was released as a single, without a physical promo, in May, but made available as a 1-track cd-single, in Canada only, in the Fall of 2004.
A few months before this promotional release, however, Silver Tongue (Demo) was released on the NPG Music Club Musicology Download Store as a "virtual b-side" to Call My Name, although Call My Name itself was not available as an individual download, and no promos were sent out at the time.
Although Silver Tongue (Demo) was not included on any release of Call My Name, it is included here for clarity’s sake.
The single reached position 75 in the US Billboard Hot 100 and position 27 in the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles charts. It also received a Grammy Award in 2005 for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance.
