The track first appeared on their 1976 debut album Wild Cherry and was released as a single the same year. The track was written by Robert Parissi. The version streamed was from 30 May 2012, Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne, Australia. A live version of the track, recorded on the 2006 Támar Tour was streamed on the 3121 Radio in May 2020. A third live version of the song (from the show given on 28 April 2011 at The Forum, Inglewood, California, USA) was included on the Blu-ray of the deluxe edition of the posthumous Welcome 2 America album released in 2021.
