Everyday Is A Winding Road is the ninth track (eighth song) on Prince’s 23rd album Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic (his sixth using the name ). The track is a cover version of the 1996 track by American singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow (written by Sheryl Crow, Jeff Trott and Brian McLeod, from her album Sheryl Crow, also released as a single).
While specific recording dates are not known, basic tracking likely took place in early 1999 at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota. The track was not included on the remix album Rave In2 The Joy Fantastic, and it is not known if it was considered for inclusion.
