Shoo-Bed-Ooh is the fifth track on the New Power Generation's third and final 'solo' album Newpower Soul, but in June 1997, a year before the album's release, a short sample of the song was available to stream on Love4OneAnother.com (along with samples of (EyeBlue.png Like) Funky Music, Funk Radio and S&M Groove).

While specific recording dates are not known, initial tracking took place in May 1997, at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA (during the same set of sessions that produced (EyeBlue.png Like) Funky Music).
